Chef Debbie Geppert
Director of Food & Beverage
With over 36 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Chef Debbie Geppert brings deep expertise, creativity, and heart to Bonfire Coffeehouse.
As the Director of Food and Beverage, she leads daily operations and menu development, shaping Bonfire’s culinary identity with a strong sense of place and purpose.
Debbie joins Bonfire alongside her three cousins—the owners of Bonfire—in a true family collaboration rooted in their shared history. The four grew up spending time with their Italian grandparents on Main Street in Amagansett. It was from these grandparents that Debbie first absorbed the flavors, values, and joy of Italian cooking.
Her culinary journey began in the 1980s and ‘90s, working at the Concord and Raleigh Hotels in the Catskills. She later served as Director of Restaurants & Room Service at Hilton in Danbury, CT. In the late 1990s, Debbie returned to her hometown of East Hampton to raise her children while continuing to refine her craft—brining her talent to weddings and large-scale events throughout the East End.

Now at Bonfire, Chef Debbie’s vision brings warmth, elegance, and familiarity to every plate—infusing each dish with generations of family tradition and deep love for Amagansett.
